New York, NY (October 5, 2015) Organizer and founder Lisa Diersen is proud to introduce Edge Brewing Barcelona as Presenting Sponsor of the 2015 EQUUS Film Festival at the Village East Cinema (home of the Tribeca Film Festival) in lower Manhattan November 20-21.

Rated Top New Brewer in the World in 2014 by and Presenting Sponsor for 2015 and 2016 of the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup™ in Ocala, FL, Edge Brewing Barcelona donates 100% of its profits from its Edge Equestrian – Craft Beer Line to equine-based charities that are saving horses and improving lives. Edge Equestrian serves under the motto, “Saving Horses One Beer at a Time” because each pull of the tap gives back in some way to support the horse community.

“Our film festival fits their business philosophy. Our vision for equestrian community involvement and development are the same,” said Diersen. “They are a very excited new sponsor and ready to jump into the thick of it. Our hopes are to move forward with an even greater partnership in years to come.”

Diersen also announced that EQUUS Film Festival will host the World Premier of The Caravan Film directed by Margot McMaster and photographed by Douglas Munor of HDTV Productions, Inc. of Calgary, Canada and based on the true story of a 2500-mile drive across America. Also joining more than 100 horse-themed screenings is the critically acclaimed Unbranded, chronicling the real-life Mexico to Canada trek by a handful of horsemen and the mustangs they choose as partners.

Edge Brewing Barcelona was established in Barcelona, Spain in 2013 by two Americans so eager to join the craft beer revolution in Europe that they brought a brewery with them. Combining finely engineered American brewing equipment, the best ingredients available and years of brewing experience, Edge Brewing Barcelona makes fresh, genuine, American craft beer for an international market while calling one of the world’s most exciting cities and edgy Poble Nou district home.
